Buddy
Buddy for professional services

Clients who answer the first time you ask.

Document requests and deadline reminders sink under forty other emails, so you chase, then chase again. On WhatsApp the client reads it in minutes and sends the file back in the thread.

Partners, practice managers and the front desk, all on the one app clients check.

Files requested → received, this week

Partners: no more third chasers

The request reaches the client's WhatsApp, gets read in minutes, and the file arrives in the thread. No matter stalled for a week on one missing page.

Practice managers

Practice managers: no more empty meeting rooms

Reminders go out on the schedule you set. Clients confirm with one reply, and anyone who needs a new time tells you before the slot is wasted.

Front desk: every reply in one place

Replies arrive sorted by what the client means: a question, a yes, a chase. Your team answers in the same thread, and nothing lives on one partner's phone.

A client and an adviser shaking hands
You asked for his ID copy on Monday. The email sits under forty others. On WhatsApp he read it in six minutes, and the photo arrived before lunch.

Clients don't ignore your requests. They ignore the inbox.

A request buried under forty emails waits a week, then you chase, then the deadline gets tight. The same client checks WhatsApp all day and replies with the file from their phone.

Document requests sit unread. The third chaser goes out before the first file arrives.
Deadline reminders go to every client in one blast, whether the date applies to them or not.
Replies land on a partner's own phone, in email and at reception. Nobody sees the whole conversation.
With Buddy, clients opt in at onboarding, each reminder goes only to the people it concerns, and every reply reaches one inbox the whole firm can see.

Three steps from onboarding to clients who reply.

A client says yes once, at onboarding. After that, everything runs inside Buddy.

1

They opt in at onboarding

Your welcome pack carries an opt-in link or QR code. The client ticks the box and chooses what they want to hear about.

Four messages a firm sends clients in its first week.

Each is an approved WhatsApp template with the client's name in it, and every reply goes straight back to the person who looks after that client.

Plays your firm can switch on.

Documents asked for once, returned the same day.

The request goes out when a matter is tagged, a friendly reminder follows if nothing arrives, and the flow stops the moment the file lands in the thread.

Clients opt in at onboarding. One word opts them out. Buddy keeps both on record.

"Can we move Thursday?"Question

Every reply, already sorted by intent.

Question, interested, follow up, not now. Whoever looks after the client answers in the thread.

Consent on record, as careful as your own files.

Every opt-in is saved with where and when it happened. One word from the client stops all messages, and that is saved too.

Ask a question
Can a law or accounting firm message clients on WhatsApp?

Yes, with their permission. Buddy runs on the official WhatsApp Business Platform: the client opts in, consent is recorded with its source, and opt-out is honoured at once. Meta's messaging policies apply, and your firm decides what goes out.

How do clients opt in?

Through an opt-in page or QR code in your welcome pack, a widget on your website, or an import of clients who already said yes. The source of each opt-in stays on the record.

Can clients send us documents on WhatsApp?

Yes. A client replies in the same thread with the file or a clear photo, and it lands in your Buddy inbox next to the request. If nothing arrives, a friendly reminder goes out by itself.

How is client confidentiality protected?

Each message goes to one client who opted in. Buddy records consent, keeps only the fields you choose to bring in, and our DPA and privacy policy cover the rest. What goes into a message is always your call.

Can the whole firm share one inbox?

Yes. Replies arrive in one inbox, sorted by what the client means, and partners, practice managers and the front desk each get their own role.

What does WhatsApp charge for these messages?

Meta charges for business messages by message type and country. Your Buddy plan is separate from that.
