Turn WooCommerce orders into conversations customers answer.
Order emails sit unread and half-finished checkouts are forgotten. Connect your WooCommerce store to Buddy and every confirmation, update and reminder goes out on WhatsApp, where it gets read and replied to.

You built the store yourself. The follow-up shouldn't be manual too.
WooCommerce gives you every order, but the follow-up is still email templates and copy-paste. Customers who opted in to WhatsApp read your updates in minutes and reply right there.
Order emails nobody opens, and carts nobody chases.
- Default order emails landing in spam or promotions.
- No way to follow up a checkout that was never finished.
- Status changes customers only find by emailing you.
- Copy-pasting the same update to customers one by one.
- Plugins for every message, none of them talking to each other.
Every order status becomes a message they read.
- Confirmation on WhatsApp the moment the order is placed.
- Processing, shipped and completed, each one told.
- Unfinished checkouts nudged once, with a link back.
- Replies land in one inbox, next to the order.
- One plugin, one audience, every journey.

How WooCommerce and Buddy work together.
The Buddy plugin connects through WooCommerce's own REST API and webhooks. Every webhook is signed, so Buddy only acts on events that truly came from your store.

Where the WhatsApp yes comes from
The plugin adds an unticked box to your checkout: "Send me order updates and offers on WhatsApp." Only customers who tick it are messaged, and Buddy saves when and where they said yes.
On connect, Buddy imports your past WooCommerce customers and orders, so you can build audiences like "bought twice" straight away.
Messages that know what happened in WooCommerce. That's why they get read.
Every order confirmed where customers actually look.
No more "did my order go through?" emails. The confirmation arrives on WhatsApp seconds after checkout, and every status change after that is a message, not a mystery.
Get back the checkouts that almost happened.
WooCommerce doesn't follow up unfinished checkouts on its own. The Buddy plugin does: if a customer who opted in leaves before paying, one friendly reminder brings them back to their cart.
Launch to the customers most likely to buy.
Build an audience from WooCommerce order history, like everyone who bought from a category, and send the new collection there first. See who read it and who ordered.
The new stoneware collection is live. You get it 24 hours before everyone else.

Does buying on WooCommerce count as a WhatsApp yes?
No. Buddy asks for the WhatsApp opt-in separately and records where and when it came from. WooCommerce data adds context to people who said yes, and never adds anyone to your list.
Is it safe to connect my store?
Yes. The plugin creates its own API key with only the access Buddy needs, and every webhook is signed so nothing fake gets through. You can disconnect in one click.
Does it work with my theme and other plugins?
Yes. The plugin works with standard WooCommerce checkouts and adds one checkbox. It doesn't change your theme or replace your existing emails.
Questions about WooCommerce and Buddy.
Anything else, ask Sarah. She reads every message and writes back herself. How do I connect WooCommerce to Buddy?
Install the Buddy plugin from your WordPress dashboard, click Connect and sign in to Buddy. The plugin creates a secure API key and the order webhooks for you.
Which WooCommerce events can start a message?
New orders, every order status change (processing, completed, refunded and more), unfinished checkouts captured by the plugin, and products coming back in stock.
How are abandoned checkouts captured?
When a customer types their phone number and ticks the WhatsApp box at checkout, the plugin saves it. If no order follows within the time you choose, Buddy sends one reminder.
Do I need a developer?
No. Everything is set up from the plugin. If you do have a developer, the Buddy API can send custom events from your store too.
Will my existing WooCommerce emails still go out?
Yes. Buddy doesn't touch them. Many stores keep email receipts and use WhatsApp for the updates that need to be seen quickly.
What does WhatsApp charge for these messages?
Meta charges for business messages by type and country, billed to your own WhatsApp Business account. Your Buddy plan is separate, and every integration is included in it.
