Cookie Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Buddy, operated by Creovine Ltd, uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and application, and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and software development kits. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, keep you signed in, protect your session, and measure how the site is used. In this policy, we refer to all of these as cookies.
Categories of cookies we use
We group the cookies we use into the following categories:
| Category | Purpose | Set by | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Sign-in, session, security, load balancing, and core product function. The Services cannot work without these. | First party (Buddy and our authentication provider) | Session and up to a few weeks |
| Functional and preference | Remembering choices such as workspace, display settings, dismissed notices, and cookie preferences. | First party | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics and performance | Understanding aggregate usage and performance, and where people encounter problems, so we can improve the product. Used where permitted. | First party and our analytics provider | Up to 12 months |
We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of you, and we do not sell personal data.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by providers that help us operate the Services. These include our authentication provider, which sets cookies needed to sign you in and secure your session, and our product analytics provider, which helps us understand aggregate usage where permitted. These providers process data under their own terms and our agreements with them. See our Subprocessor List for the categories of providers we use.
How to control cookies
You can control and delete cookies in several ways:
- Where a cookie banner or preference control is shown, use it to accept or reject non-essential cookies.
- Adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the Services from working, including sign-in.
- Use your browser or device privacy controls, such as private browsing and tracking protection.
Some browsers offer a Do Not Track signal. Because there is no common standard for how sites should respond, we treat your cookie choices and applicable law as the controlling preference.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices or the tools we use change. When we make material changes we will update the date above. Please check this page from time to time.
