No. Buddy asks for the WhatsApp opt-in separately and records where and when it came from. Selar data adds context to people who said yes, and never adds anyone to your list.

Do I need to be technical?

No. You copy one link from Buddy and paste it in Selar. Buddy sends a test event so you can see it worked.

Will Buddy see my earnings or payouts?

No. Buddy only receives what Selar sends for each sale: the buyer, the product, the amount and the date. Your balance and payouts stay in Selar.

Copy your private webhook link from Buddy, open Integrations in your Selar dashboard, paste the link and save. Every new sale is then sent to Buddy.

What information does Selar send to Buddy?

For each sale: the buyer's name and email, the product name, the amount paid, the order ID and the purchase date.

How does Buddy know a buyer's WhatsApp number?

Buyers opt in through your Buddy link on the thank-you message or delivery page. Buddy then matches their Selar purchases to them by email.

Can different products start different messages?

Yes. Map each Selar product to its own tag, audience and journey, so course buyers, ebook buyers and event attendees each get the right welcome.

Can I still use Selar's own emails?

Yes. Selar keeps sending its receipts and download emails. Buddy adds the WhatsApp welcome and follow-ups on top.

What does WhatsApp charge for these messages?

Meta charges for business messages by type and country, billed to your own WhatsApp Business account. Your Buddy plan is separate, and every integration is included in it.
