Turn every Shopify order into the next one.
Shipping emails go unopened and abandoned carts go cold. Connect Shopify to Buddy and the thank-you, the tracking link and the cart reminder land on WhatsApp, where customers read them in minutes and reply.

Your customers check WhatsApp fifty times a day. Your order emails, once.
Shopify already knows who bought what and who left at checkout. Sent by email, most of what you say about it is never seen. Sent on WhatsApp to customers who said yes, it gets read and answered.
Every order update disappears into an inbox.
- Order confirmations opened by a handful of buyers.
- Tracking links buried under forty promotions.
- Abandoned carts chased by an email nobody reads.
- Restock news blasted to everyone, read by almost no one.
- "Where is my order?" messages piling up in your DMs.
Every order update lands in their hand.
- A thank-you on WhatsApp the second they pay.
- Tracking the moment Shopify marks the order fulfilled.
- One friendly cart reminder, stopped the moment they buy.
- Restocks told only to the people who bought or asked.
- Questions answered in the same thread as the order.

How Shopify and Buddy work together.
The Buddy app listens to your store in real time. When something happens in Shopify, Buddy updates the customer's profile, checks they opted in, and sends the message you set up.

What it never touches
Where the WhatsApp yes comes from
Buddy adds an opt-in block to your thank-you and order status pages and a sign-up widget to your storefront: "Get order updates on WhatsApp." Customers tick it, Buddy records it with the source, and only they get messages.
On connect, Buddy imports your past customers and orders, so audiences like "bought twice" or "no order in 60 days" are ready on day one.
Messages that know what happened in Shopify. That's why they get read.
Every buyer hears from you the second they pay.
A paid order starts a thank-you, a shipping update when Shopify marks it fulfilled, and a "how is it going?" two weeks later, each one about that customer and that order.
Win back the customers who went quiet.
Build a living audience from Shopify history: bought before, nothing in 60 days, opted in. Send something worth coming back for, and the audience updates itself as new orders arrive.
Restocks sell out to the people who were waiting.
When Shopify stock goes from zero to available, Buddy tells the customers who bought it or asked to hear, see who read it within the hour, and see the orders that follow.
Sofia, the linen set is back in sage. You asked to hear first.

Does buying on Shopify count as a WhatsApp yes?
No. Buddy asks for the WhatsApp opt-in separately and records where and when it came from. Shopify data adds context to people who said yes, and never adds anyone to your list.
Will it slow my store down?
No. Buddy reads events from Shopify in the background. The only thing it adds to your storefront is a small opt-in block, and it loads after your page.
I already send Shopify emails. Why add WhatsApp?
Keep them. Buddy sends the messages that need to be seen quickly, like shipping, carts and restocks, on the channel your customers open all day.
Questions about Shopify and Buddy.
Anything else, ask Sarah. She reads every message and writes back herself. How do I connect Shopify to Buddy?
Install the Buddy app from your Shopify admin, approve the access it asks for, and choose which events and fields Buddy may use. It takes a few minutes and no code.
Which Shopify events can start a WhatsApp message?
Order paid, checkout started but not completed, order fulfilled, refund created, product back in stock and new customer. Each can start a journey or add a customer to an audience.
Does Buddy import my existing Shopify customers?
Yes. On connect, Buddy imports past customers and orders so your audiences and history are ready straight away. Only customers who opted in to WhatsApp are ever messaged.
How do customers opt in to WhatsApp?
Through the opt-in block on your thank-you and order status pages, the sign-up widget on your storefront, or a link or QR code you share. Each opt-in is saved with its source and time.
Can the cart reminder include the customer's cart?
Yes. The reminder carries the checkout link from Shopify, so one tap takes them back to their cart with everything still in it.
What happens if I uninstall the app?
Buddy stops receiving Shopify events straight away. Your Buddy audience and opt-in records stay in your workspace until you delete them.
What does WhatsApp charge for these messages?
Meta charges for business messages by type and country, billed to your own WhatsApp Business account. Your Buddy plan is separate, and every integration is included in it.
