Buddy for insurance
Stop losing policies to renewal emails nobody opens.
Renewal notices sit in the promotions tab until the cover lapses. Send them on WhatsApp instead, see who read each one, and get the answer back in one word: RENEW.

Renewals, service and claims. One channel your customers actually open.
Renewals: no more silent lapses
The reminder lands in the app policyholders open all day, weeks before the date. One word back and your team can renew it.
Policy service: updates that get read
Changed terms, new documents or a new phone number reach only the people they affect, and every question comes straight back to your team.
Claims: updates without the hold music
Photos, call-back requests and questions arrive sorted by what people mean. Your team answers in the thread the customer already uses.
Policyholders don't skip renewals. They skip the email about them.
Renewal notices go to promotions, policy letters stay sealed and call-backs hit voicemail. Then the cover lapses and the customer is upset. They read WhatsApp all day.
Three steps from opt-in to a renewed policy.
One API call when a policyholder opts in, or a widget and an opt-in page if you have no app. After that, everything runs inside Buddy.
They opt in, in-app
A policyholder ticks "Policy updates on WhatsApp". Your app adds them to Buddy with a tag.
Group by cover and month
Tags turn into audiences: home cover due in March, motor customers, anyone with travel cover.
Remind, update, answer
Your renewal flow runs by itself. Policy updates go out as a WhatsApp message. Every reply comes back to one inbox.
Four messages that keep policyholders close in the first week.
Each is an approved WhatsApp template with the person's name and cover in it, and every reply comes back to your team.

Renewals sorted before the cover runs out.
A reminder to everyone tagged renewal due, a second one if there's no reply, and a note to your team the moment someone says RENEW. Each flow stops when they answer.
Storm tips only to the homes that need them.
Home cover gets storm tips, travel cover gets holiday tips. Send to a tag and see who read it.
Policyholders opt in where they manage their cover. One word opts them out. Buddy records both.
Every reply, already sorted by intent.
Interested, question, follow up, not now. Renewals, service and claims each answer in the thread.
Consent records compliance can sign off on.
Every opt-in is saved with where and when it happened. One word from the policyholder stops all messages, and that is saved too.
A role for renewals, service and claims.
Invite agents and handlers. Each sees only what they need.
Number health, in sight.
Quality rating and messaging limits from WhatsApp, right inside Buddy.
What compliance will ask before you message a policyholder.
Anything else, ask Sarah. She reads and replies to every message.
Can an insurer message policyholders on WhatsApp?
Yes, with their permission. Buddy runs on the official WhatsApp Business Platform: every opt-in is recorded with its source and every opt-out is honoured at once. Meta's messaging policies apply, and your compliance team decides what goes out.
How do policyholders opt in?
Inside your app, with one API call when they tick the box. Or through a widget on your website, an opt-in page or QR code, or an import of people who already said yes.
What policyholder data does Buddy keep?
Only what you add: usually a name, a phone number and tags such as the type of cover or the renewal month. Buddy also keeps the consent record and the WhatsApp conversation.
How does Buddy handle personal data?
Buddy is built for GDPR. You choose which fields come in, consent and opt-outs stay on record, and our DPA and privacy policy cover the rest.
Can renewals, service and claims share one inbox?
Yes. Replies arrive in one inbox, grouped by what people mean, and each team gets its own role. Everyone answers in the thread the policyholder already uses.
What does WhatsApp charge for these messages?
Meta charges for business messages by message type and country. Your Buddy plan is separate from that.
Keep every policyholder covered, and close to you.
