Buddy for food delivery
Send the menu on Sunday night. Wake up to Monday's orders.
The weekly menu email gets opened on Wednesday, after the week's shop is done, and your posts get scrolled past. On WhatsApp, Sunday's menu is read that night and the replies are orders.

The founder, the kitchen and the customer team, talking to customers on one channel.
Founder: a menu that turns into orders
The weekly menu goes out Sunday at seven. By Monday morning you know who read it, who replied, and how many boxes to prep.
Kitchen: prep numbers before Sunday ends
New dishes go to the people who loved similar ones. Replies come back the same evening, so the kitchen preps to real numbers, not a hopeful guess.
Customer team: every reply in one inbox
Skips, swaps, a missing item, a thank-you: sorted by what people mean and answered in the thread. Nobody copies orders out of a chat into a spreadsheet again.
Your customers don't ignore the menu. They ignore the inbox it's in.
The weekly menu email lands among receipts and promotions and gets opened on Wednesday, after the week's meals are decided. The same person checks WhatsApp on Sunday night with a free hand and replies in seconds.
From checkout to their WhatsApp in three steps.
Customers opt in where they order. After that, the follow-up runs itself.
Opt in at checkout
A customer ticks "Menu on WhatsApp" at checkout or scans the card in the box. Connect your store and each one lands in Buddy with a tag.

Tags turn into audiences: weekly box, ordered the salmon, quiet for three weeks.
Send, automate, reply
The Sunday menu goes out as a WhatsApp message. The reorder nudge sends itself. Every reply comes back to one inbox.
Four messages your kitchen sends in its first week.
Each is an approved template with the customer's name in it, and every reply comes straight back to you.

One-off orders become a weekly habit.
A thank-you when they opt in, the menu every Sunday night, a nudge when three weeks pass without an order. Each flow stops the moment they reply.
Launch a new dish to the people who'll love it.
Tag the customers who ordered similar dishes, send to them first, and see who read and replied before the kitchen plans prep.
Customers opt in at checkout and leave with one word. Buddy keeps a record of both.
One inbox, every reply sorted for you.
Skips, swaps, a missing item, a thank-you. Your team answers in the thread.
Consent saved right where the order was placed.
Every opt-in is saved with where and when it happened: checkout, the card in the box, your website. One word from a customer stops everything, and that is saved too.
The founder, the kitchen and the customer team, each with a role.

What every kitchen asks before its first Sunday menu goes out.
Anything else, ask Sarah. She reads and replies to every message.
Can customers order by replying?
Yes. The menu goes out as a WhatsApp message, replies land in your inbox sorted by what people mean, and an order reply shows as Purchased so your team can confirm it in the thread. Payment stays in your store; Buddy does not take money.
How do customers opt in?
At checkout through your connected store or the widget on your website, by scanning the QR card in the box, or from your opt-in page. Customers who already said yes can be imported, and if your own app takes the order, one API call adds them with a tag.
Can I schedule the menu for Sunday night?
Yes. Write the WhatsApp message, personalise it with each customer's name, add a photo of the week's star dish if you like, and schedule it for Sunday at seven. Buddy shows sent, delivered and read as it goes.
Can I send order and delivery updates?
Yes, from the inbox. The confirmation, the delivery window and any change go out in the same thread as the customer's replies, so the whole order lives in one place.
Can the kitchen and the customer team share one inbox?
Yes. Replies land in one inbox, sorted by what people mean, and you can invite the founder, the kitchen and the customer team with their own roles.
What does WhatsApp charge for these messages?
Meta charges for business messages by type and country. Buddy's own plan is separate from that.
